Privacy Policy — Wobble

This Privacy Policy explains how BnH Hosting & Design, LLC (“BnH,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with Wobble, our mobile application that helps children learn everyday life skills. Wobble is designed primarily for children ages 6–8, along with their parents and caregivers. Because Wobble is directed to children, we have built it to collect as little information as possible, and this policy is written to comply with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple’s App Store Kids Category requirements.

1. Who We Are

BnH Hosting & Design, LLC is a design and growth agency based in Farmington, New Mexico. Wobble is a consumer application published by BnH for families. Unlike our internal tools, Wobble is offered to the public through the Apple App Store.

We take children’s privacy seriously. Wobble does not contain third-party advertising, does not use third-party analytics or tracking, and does not sell or share a child’s information for advertising or marketing of any kind.

2. Information We Collect and Process

Most information in Wobble is stored only on the child’s device and is never transmitted to us.

Stored only on the device (never sent to us)

• The child’s first name or nickname, entered by a parent during setup.
• The child’s interests and focus areas, chosen by a parent during setup.
• The chosen buddy color and buddy name.
• Progress within activities, such as which activities were completed and simple streak information.

This information remains on the device and is removed if the parent deletes it in the app or removes the app.

Sent to our servers only to operate the app

When a child uses a feature that involves interacting with Wobble — such as the “Tell Wobble” conversations, Story time, or spoken activity guidance — the app sends the text of that interaction to our servers to generate Wobble’s response. To make Wobble’s replies feel personal, the child’s first name and interests may be included with these requests.

We do not store these interactions. Our servers process each request to produce a reply and retain nothing afterward — no conversation text, no name, and no interests are written to logs, files, or databases.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above only to operate Wobble, specifically to:

• Personalize the child’s activities, plan, and stories to their name and interests, on their device;
• Generate Wobble’s spoken and written responses in the moment;
• Enable parents to review and delete their child’s information;
• Maintain and secure the reliability of the app.

We do not sell any information. We do not use the information to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to operating Wobble.

4. Use of Artificial Intelligence

Wobble uses an artificial intelligence service to generate Wobble’s conversational and storytelling responses. The text of a child’s interaction, along with their first name and interests, may be sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to produce a response. Our AI provider processes this content to return a result and does not use it to train its models. This content is not retained by us after the response is returned.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell or share a child’s information, and we do not share it with any third party for advertising or tracking. We use a limited number of service providers only to operate the app:

• Hosting provider (DigitalOcean) — hosts the servers that run Wobble’s features.
• AI provider (Anthropic) — generates Wobble’s responses.
• App distribution and payments (Apple, and RevenueCat for subscription management) — process app distribution and any optional subscription purchase. Our subscription provider receives only an anonymous identifier and subscription status; it does not receive a child’s name, interests, or interactions, and is not permitted to collect advertising identifiers.

These providers may process information only to provide their service to us and are bound to protect it. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law or valid legal process.

6. Parental Consent and Controls

Wobble is set up by a parent or caregiver. During setup, we ask the parent to confirm that they are an adult and that they consent to the app’s handling of the information described in this policy. Setup, any purchase, and any permission request (such as microphone access for talking with Wobble) are placed behind a parental gate that is designed to be passable by an adult but not a young child.

7. Microphone

If a child uses spoken features, the app may request microphone access to capture what the child says so that Wobble can respond. Audio is used only to produce Wobble’s reply and is not retained for any other purpose. A parent can decline or revoke microphone access at any time in the device’s settings.

8. Data Storage, Security, and Retention

Information stored in the app remains on the child’s device until the parent deletes it or removes the app. We do not retain a child’s information on our servers: interactions are processed to generate a reply and are then discarded, and no child data is logged or stored server-side. While no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, we take reasonable measures designed to protect the information we handle.

9. Parents’ Rights and Choices

As a parent or caregiver, you can:

• Review the information stored in the app on your device.
• Delete your child’s information at any time using the “Delete my child’s data” option in the Grown-ups area of the app, or by deleting the app.
• Withdraw consent by deleting the app, which stops all handling of your child’s information.
• Contact us with any question or request regarding your child’s information.

Data Deletion Requests

To delete your child’s information, use the “Delete my child’s data” option in the app, or email us at basil@bnhhost.com with the details of your request. We will verify and process valid requests and confirm once the information has been removed, subject to any retention required by law.

10. Children’s Privacy

Wobble is designed primarily for children ages 6–8 and is intended to be set up and supervised by a parent or caregiver. We collect only the limited information described in this policy, we do not knowingly collect more than is necessary to operate the app, and we never use a child’s information for advertising, marketing, or profiling. If you believe we have collected information from a child in a manner inconsistent with this policy, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and where appropriate we will notify parents within the app.
